Austria-Hungary. Oesterreich is the German name for Austria. Kaiser und Koenig is German for Emperor and King. When Austria and Hungary were united under a single ruler, he held the titles of Emperor of Austria and King of Hungary, so they often put Kaiser und Koenig on their stamps, or an abbreviation such as KuK.
